Milan: the multi-touch technology from Microsoft
has been announced officially until 29 May 2007, but since April 17 this year was released in the store of AT & T Inc. in the United States. With Windows Surface (code name: Milan), Microsoft has set itself the goal of creating an iteration between new technologies and users, in order to create a new understanding of personal computers. This trinket, however, unlike the multi-touch technology implemented into the iPhone, is not sensitive to the touch, but uses a series of cameras to detect objects, allowing users to manipulate digital content with the simple gesture of the hands.
The combination of hardware and software make a perfect media center surface, suitable for all users of all ages. The price ranges from $ 5,000 to $ 10,000, but the company of Bill Gates pledged that by 2010, prices will be more accessible to the public. The system uses Windows Vista, but most likely will join the company of Redmond Surface to the new Windows 7.
